Why? Current restrictions do not allow for back-to-back classes with instruction that include focus mitts and face-to-face contact,
If you see a gym or fitness centre sparring/ wrestling/ doing partner work/ sharing equipment and without sufficient breaks for cleaning of all contacted surfaces they are in breach of current restrictions. Sweat Depot is being a goodie-two-shoes and trying to stick to the rules, even if that means daily financial and logistical challenges.
ps: no fitness centre has been the site of a Covid outbreak, but that is a matter to address with out local parliamentarians.

We have an awesome online members page with recorded classes to get your technique and combinations top-notch. This 6 month program includes a 20 minute ZOOM consult to show you how to do a fitness test and use the membership to your full potential. Welcome to Sweat Depot online fitness classes.
Start with a benchmark body weight class to determine wether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced trainer. Then progress to the boxing technique videos to get your eye-in for correct technique and rhythm. Then gear up for your recorded 45 minute HIIT and HIRT fight fitness classes. We use hex weights, core bags, kettlebells, torsion bars, hand weights (lolly weights), resistance bands and even a household chair. We even have a short fun kids session so they don't feel left out.
You choose your fitness equipment poison.... And you can contact Erin after viewing these videos to see what Sweat Depot equipment packages might suit.
As part of this package you will also receive the RAVES Self Defence Online learning platform. That's $29.95 worth of value rolled into your 6 month Sweat Depot training package.

Is boxing good for rehab?
Beginners boxing classes may be good for your rehabilitation.
All other scheduled classes are Fight Fitness requiring intermediate to advanced fitness and coordination. Fight Fitness classes are not designed for rehabilitation if you have never boxed or done high impact fitness before.

Please turn up AT LEAST 10 MINS EARLIER TO BE SHOWN THE ROPES. Class format and techniques are often explained PRIOR TO THE CLASS STARTING so you are missing out (and increase injury risk) if you arrive late.
What do I bring bring to class? What should I wear? Bring heaps of water and clothes that you could run a marathon and kick to the head comfortably in. Bring your wraps and 12 ounce - 16 ounce leather gloves and wraps.
Hand wraps are an inexpensive and essential part of any boxer's injury prevention routine.
We recommend a lycra blend wrap that is approximately 5-6cm wide and 4-5 metres long depending on your size and requirements. We have a range of hand wraps for sale that fit these requirements and our instructors are qualified in giving you the correct advice and instruction on how to use them. PLEASE NOTE: we do not recommend quick velcro wraps in any circumstances.
