Yoga at Sweat Depot

Why do yoga?

When we experience trauma our "body keeps the score"

We know this because we experience physical symptoms (such as racing heart beat or sweating) when we are reminded of the events or familiar smells or sounds. Yoga works by directly contradicting those horrible events by laying down memories of beautiful new physical events (your yoga practice).

Our instructor Charles is known nation wide for his healing practices for P.T.S.D. sufferers and now heads research groups and committees.

Mind, Body, Spirit...
for healing

Yoga = healing. It's that simple.

Through asanas (postures), meditation and healthy eating, yoga has been reconnecting people with their soul and to find truly sustainable happiness (and flexibility) for thousands of years. Your body, mind and soul already know (and always have known) how to heal you. Through regular yoga practice you become your own healer and learn to accept that you are worthy, you are special and you are loved.

Healing Energy Yoga classes combine the gentleness of Hatha & Restorative Yoga with aromatherapy & meditation to guide you on your journey of self discovery, mindfulness and healing.

You can choose to join us at group classes or arrange a one on one Yoga Therapy session.

Charles specialises in Hatha Yoga for grief and trauma which is perfect for anyone who is hurting (regardless of the cause).  He is an international ambassador for healing P.T.S.D. for returning serviceman and veterans with yoga.

Who should do yoga?
